Prohibition is Rocket Distillery’s collection of small-batch whisky and brandy, inspired by bold characters, strong stories and a little disregard for the ordinary.
Now aged for three years or more, the range brings together traditional malt whisky, corn whisky, five-year pot still brandy and a smooth five-year blend — each with its own flavour, personality and story to tell.

Fast forward to South Africa, 2020.
A new kind of prohibition swept across the country. Lockdown hit, the shelves were dry and good spirits were suddenly in short supply.
But silence has never suited us.
In a quiet rebellion, Rocket Distillery was born. What started as small-batch spirits shared with our nearest and dearest quickly turned into a love for distilling, experimenting and creating bottles with real character.
The name Prohibition felt fitting.
Inspired by the American Prohibition era of 1920–1933, the collection is a nod to ingenuity, camaraderie and the kind of rebellious spirit that finds a way forward when the rules change.
And the range has grown up too.
Today, every Prohibition spirit has been aged for at least three years, with selected expressions matured for five.

Golden, warming and anything but quiet.
Desert Storm is a corn-based whisky with layers of sweet caramel, vanilla and warming cinnamon, balanced by a rich mouthfeel and bold finish.

Easy Company is a five-year pot still brandy with nutty depth, gentle fruit, balanced acidity and a smooth oak finish.

Operation Neptune is a three-year malt whisky with a smooth, sweet character and a distinctly dry finish.

Who said whisky had to behave? Golden Goddess takes aged corn whisky and gives it the Rocket treatment with vanilla and a touch of glitter.
Soft and smooth, with layered vanilla, lingering caramel sweetness and delicate oak undertones, it finishes warm, elegant and unmistakably golden.

Bravo Zulu is a five-year blended brandy with fruity, creamy sweetness and a smooth oak finish.
The name is traditionally used to signal “well done” — which feels particularly fitting for a brandy that has spent five years earning its place in the bottle.
