1. General Terms
- By booking or purchasing from Rocket Distillery™, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
- Rocket Distillery™ reserves the right to amend these terms from time to time. Any changes will be communicated on our website.
- All services provided by Rocket Distillery™ are intended for individuals aged 18 years or older. If requested, valid identification will be required to verify age.
2. Booking & Reservations
- In-Distillery Events: All bookings for in-distillery events, including the Make Your Own Experience, must be made via our online platform or by direct inquiry with our team. Bookings will be confirmed once a deposit is received.
- Mobile Tastings: Bookings for mobile tasting events are also confirmed with a deposit. This service includes the provision of a guided tasting experience at your venue of choice. We bring the tasting kits, and additional travel charges may apply depending on your location.
3. Make Your Own Experience Terms
- Location & Consumption: All Make Your Own Experiences are hosted at Rocket Distillery™ (79 Shad Road, Wadeville, Germiston). The event includes a guided tasting session, which must be consumed on-site during the event. If you choose to take your tasting kit home, you will be charged for the mini glass bottles included in the set.
- Deposit & Payment: A deposit is required to secure your booking. Final payment must be made at least 7 days before your event. Final payment covers the custom distillation and tasting kits. Full payment is required for bookings with fewer than 8 guests.
- Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable. In the case of no-shows, the full fee remains payable, and the guest’s bottle may be prepared for them to enjoy on-site.
4. Event Policies
- Group Size & Age Restrictions: We recommend a maximum of 13-26 guests per group for private in-distillery events. For mobile tastings, a minimum of 6 guests is required. All participants must be at least 18 years old.
- Duration: The Make Your Own Experience lasts approximately 3 hours. Please ensure you arrive on time to fully enjoy the experience.
- Food & Catering: While we do not provide catering, you are welcome to order food via delivery services (Mr D, Uber Eats, etc.) or bring your own snacks. Please inform us ahead of time if you plan to bring catering. You must use our bar; no outside drinks are allowed.
- Content & Sharing: Rocket Distillery™ may take photos and videos during your event for social media and marketing purposes. If you prefer not to be included, please notify our team at the beginning of your experience.
5. Mobile Tastings Terms
- Booking & Setup: A minimum of 6 guests is required for a mobile tasting event. The tasting kits, including spirits and glassware, will be brought to your location and taken home after the event. It is assumed that all alcohol will be consumed at the tasting. If you wish to keep the bottles without consuming the alcohol, additional charges will apply.
- Travel Fees: Travel fees apply depending on the distance from our distillery.
- Payment & Cancellation: Mobile tastings require full payment upon booking. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event will result in a non-refundable fee. For cancellations due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances, we will work with you to reschedule.
6. Alcohol Sales
- Purchasing Spirits: Rocket Distillery™ sells handcrafted spirits, including gin, whisky, rum, brandy, and Mexican agave spirits. All alcohol sales are final, and products are not returnable unless defective. By purchasing alcohol from us, you confirm you are at least 18 years old.
- Delivery & Shipping: We offer delivery within South Africa. Shipping costs will vary based on the destination. Delivery times may differ, and Rocket Distillery™ is not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers.
7. Liability & Health & Safety
- Liability: Rocket Distillery™ is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage that occurs during events or while consuming our products, either on-site or off-site. You agree to attend all events and tastings at your own risk.
- Health & Safety: Please inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or special dietary requirements prior to attending your event. We aim to create a safe environment for all participants, but we do not provide medical supervision during events.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
- Data Collection: By booking or purchasing from Rocket Distillery™, you consent to the collection of personal information for the purposes of fulfilling your order or event booking.
- Privacy Policy: We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. Our full privacy policy is available on our website.
9. Purchasing Spirits & Orders
- Age Verification: To purchase spirits from Rocket Distillery™, you must be at least 18 years of age. All alcohol sales are strictly for individuals 18+ and are subject to verification. You may be asked to provide proof of age before your order is processed or delivered.
- Payment Process: For a smooth and seamless experience, please make payment using Payflex. Full payment is required before production of any items (including spirits) commences. Once we have received your proof of payment, we’ll begin preparing your order right away!
- Lead Time for Spirit Orders: We aim to deliver your handcrafted spirits within 3-5 business days. If you require your order sooner, feel free to contact us, and we’ll do our best to work some magic and get it to you faster!
- Order Confirmation & Updates: Once your payment has been received and processed, we’ll confirm your order and provide you with an estimated delivery date. You’ll receive regular updates on your order’s progress, and we’re always available to answer any questions you might have.
10. Production & Lead Times
- Spirit Orders: For handcrafted spirits, the lead time is 3-5 days from payment receipt to shipping. We work diligently to ensure your order is delivered swiftly and to your exact specifications.
- Merchandise Orders: Orders for merchandise (such as custom products) typically take 7 to 10 days, unless otherwise arranged. Our team is committed to delivering your unique items with precision and care.
- Experience Bookings: If you’ve booked one of our immersive tasting experiences, your reservation is confirmed in our system, and we’ll ensure everything is set up for an unforgettable experience.

12. Changes to Terms
