Glitter & Moonshine™ events transform everyday occasions into unforgettable experiences filled with laughter, flavour, and a hint of rebellion.

Born from the stillness of lockdown 2020, when liquor aisles were ghost towns and toasts fell silent – Glitter & Moonshine™ was our way of bringing joy back into the world, one enchanting tasting at a time.

What’s a Glitter & Moonshine™ Experience?

It’s a hosted tasting experience brought to you, complete with handcrafted spirits, fairytale storytelling, and a table setup that looks as good as it tastes. Morning, noon, or night – our team brings the sparkle wherever you are. Tastings can be hosted at Rocket Distillery® in Wadeville or your home or venue of choice!

How It Works:

  • Gather 6+ guests
  • Choose your preferred tasting (see below)
  • Book a date and time
  • We’ll arrive 30 minutes before to set up tasting tables
  • We bring glasses, spirits, mixers – and the magic
  • You supply snacks, water and good vibes
  • Tastings take approx. 2–3 hours
  • You sip, we guide, and everyone sparkles

Hosting a bachelorette, bachelor’s party, special birthday, or office function? Or simply looking to meet fellow spirit fanatics? To make your event even more magical, we have some fantastic add-ons for you! Enhance the experience with a Gin Bar or indulge in delicious Gin Slushies. The price  includes alcohol, consumables, setup, and full management of the mobile bar for the evening.

Glitter and Moonshine Mobile Bar

Gin Slushies

A variety of slushy flavors are available. Choose any two flavours and spirits to mix and match. Frozen. Fabulous. Festive.

Mobile Gin Bar

Our cart will be stocked with up to four (4) of our small batch spirits and matching mixes. Your guests then customise the drinks to tantalize their tastebuds, whether it be traditional G&T or a gin with a twist.

Cash Bar Services

Want the full bar experience? We’ll run the drinks while you run the dancefloor. Our service includes two skilled barmen and a fully stocked bar featuring our whisky, brandy, rum, gin, and tequila. Plus, we’re throwing in a two-barrel slushie machine for an icy twist! Perfect for:

Important Booking Info

  • We cater for groups between 30 and 120 people
  • R1,000 non-refundable booking fee secures your date
  • Balance due one week before your event
  • Travel surcharge applies beyond 20km from Alberton
  • Duration: Set up 2 hours; event 5 hours.
  • Electricity and flat surface area required for our mobile bar
